Mobile App Development

iOS, Android, and cross-platform apps, taken from concept to the app stores by the same team that builds the backend behind them.

What does a mobile app development company do?

It designs, builds, and ships apps for iOS and Android, including the backend systems the app runs on. Eclipse Dev Studios covers the full stack: the app, the API behind it, app store submission, and the updates that come after launch.

01Scope

What We Build

Consumer and audience apps. Products your users download and live in, like the Premier Mindset Program app delivering sport psychology tools to athletes and teams.
Business and companion apps. Mobile front doors to your platform: field tools for crews, client apps for portals, staff apps for operations.
Cross-platform builds. One codebase for both stores when it fits the product, native when it doesn't. The build dictates the approach, and we show you the trade-offs before you choose.
02The other half

An App Is Only Half the Build

Every serious app is a client to a backend: accounts, data, sync, notifications, payments. Shops that only do the app leave you sourcing that separately. We engineer both halves together, so the app, the API, and the data model are designed as one system.

Store submission is on us. Listings, review requirements, and the back-and-forth with Apple and Google are part of the job, not your homework.
Launch isn't the end. OS updates, device changes, and store policy shifts keep coming; we stay on to keep the app current. Full process: Custom Software Development.
FAQ

Questions We Get Asked

Should I build a native or cross-platform app?

Cross-platform (one codebase for iOS and Android) is right for most business and content apps: one build, two stores, lower cost. Native wins when you need heavy device integration, top-end performance, or platform-specific UX. We lay out the trade-offs for your specific app during discovery, with reasons you can check.

Do you build the backend too?

Yes, and we'd rather you didn't split it. The API, database, accounts, and admin tooling behind the app are half the product. Building both halves as one system is what keeps sync, performance, and security from becoming somebody else's problem later.

Do you handle app store submission?

Yes. Store listings, review guidelines, certificates, and the review back-and-forth with Apple and Google are part of the project. You end with your app live in the stores under your own developer accounts, which you own.

What does a mobile app cost to build?

App projects start at $5,000, and scope drives the rest: screens, platforms, backend complexity, and integrations. After a free discovery conversation you get a mapped plan, a fixed price, and a timeline before you commit.

What happens after the app launches?

iOS and Android keep moving, so the app has to. We stay on for OS updates, bug fixes, new features, and store policy changes. You're never left with a binary nobody maintains.
